Last Monday, June 21, 2010, I headed down to the beach in Santa Monica. On my way down to the water’s edge, I stopped for a lemonade from Hot Dog On A Stick. It’s been a little ritual of mine for many years…not one I indulge in too often, though! The idea of a hot dog on a stick isn’t super appealing to me, but their lemonade is a different thing entirely. I don’t even like lemonade that much. Theirs is really refreshing and crisp, though. Maybe it brings back memories of roller blading at the beach during my college years, when after a long day in the sun, nothing sounded so good as a fresh lemonade on the boardwalk. Doesn’t hurt that they wear cute-but-ridiculous uniforms and work in an colorful little shack on the beach.
